Response
At Edinburgh and within the Free Church Offices there on Wednesday 18th June 1997 the Training on the Ministry and Admissions Committee of the Free Church met and was constituted.
Inter Alia
The Committee took up consideration of a communication dated 21st April
1997 from Mr. P. Mansbacher, together with the Executive recommendation
that in view of the selective and random compilation of quotations in
Mr. Mansbacher's document "The Professor, his vows and the Bible", and in
view of the finding of the 1997 General Assembly regarding Professor Donald
Macleod, the Committee pass from this correspondence. It was moved, seconded
and agreed that In view of the findings of the 1997 General Assembly
regarding petitions from Mr. Mansbacher, the Committee resolve that he has
no locus in bringing these matters to their attention. They pass from them
and return his papers to Mr. Mansbacher. From that finding Mr. A.
Morrison dissented.
